🎄 Festive Cheer at St Peter’s: Christmas Jumpers & a Wonderful Lunch 👕

Dec

What a joyful day we’ve had at St Peter’s! Our Christmas Jumper Day brought so much colour and sparkle to school, and the children looked fantastic in their festive knits. Thank you to everyone who has already made a donation to support Save the Children, a charity that works tirelessly to improve the lives of children around the world by providing education, healthcare, and emergency aid where it’s needed most. If you haven’t yet contributed, it’s not too late! You can make a direct donation via https://www.savethechildren.org.uk/christmas-jumper-day. Every pound really does make a difference.

After the jumper fun, we gathered for our school Christmas lunch, and what a feast it was! A huge thank you to our amazing kitchen team for preparing a delicious, home-cooked meal that truly captured the spirit of Christmas. From the roast turkey to the festive desserts, everything was perfect. We also want to thank all the staff who helped serve and make the lunch feel extra special – it was a real team effort.

The children absolutely loved it! Here are a few of their comments:

“This is the best lunch ever – I love the Christmas pudding!”

“It feels like we’re all having Christmas together!”

Mrs Jones, our Assistant Headteacher, summed up the day beautifully:
“There was such a lovely family atmosphere in the hall today. Seeing the children laughing and enjoying their meal together really shows what St Peter’s is all about – Love, Learn, Shine.”

Thank you again to everyone who contributed to the charity and helped make today so memorable. It’s days like these that remind us of the joy of community and the importance of giving.
