Welcome back to the second half of the autumn term! Tomorrow marks the start of an exciting half term full of learning, growth, and community events. Here’s a summary of what’s coming up and how you can get involved:

🚗 Car Park Update
The tarmac works in the main school car park, which are part of our overall drainage improvements, could not take place at the end of last half term due to a supply issue. These works have now been rescheduled for Monday 3 November from 9:00am.
This means the fencing and restricted access to the back playground will remain in place until the work is complete. Access to and from the main playground will be via the side of school past the Early Years entrance.
We expect everything to return to normal by Tuesday at the latest. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we complete these essential improvements to our site.
📚 Open Classrooms & Online Safety – This Thursday
Join us on Thursday 6 November for two fantastic opportunities:
- Open Classrooms (3.45–5.00pm) – Explore your child’s classroom, celebrate their work, and chat with teachers.

- Online Safety Sessions (2.30pm & 5.00pm) – Led by Keri Standen, our CEOPs-trained Safeguarding Lead and fellow parent, these sessions offer practical advice to help you support your child in the digital world.

🧥 Coats Please
As the weather cools, please make sure your child brings a named coat every day. Outdoor learning continues, and we want everyone to stay warm and well.
📰 Curriculum News – Now Online
Our weekly curriculum updates are now in the News section of our website, making it easier for you to stay connected with your child’s learning journey.
🎖️ Remembrance Week
Year 5 & 6 pupils will support the Poppy Appeal during playtimes. Please join us in observing a two-minute silence on Monday 11 November at 11.00am.

💬 A Message from Mr Griffiths
“We’re proud of the strong partnership we have with our families. This half term is full of opportunities to come together and support our children’s learning and wellbeing. Whether it’s joining us in the classroom or learning more about online safety, your involvement makes a real difference.”
