🌟 Love, Learn, Shine at Home: A Very Special Robot Return

🤖 Sparrows Shine: Home‑Made Robot Joins the Flock!

After last week’s Junk‑Modelling Magic in Year 2 Sparrows, the excitement hasn’t stopped! Inspired by the classroom robot creations, one of our Sparrows went home, gathered their own recycling materials and carefully designed and built a brand‑new robot model all by themselves.
Today, they proudly brought their robot back into school to share with Miss Corrigan and the whole class. The moment the new robot “member” of Sparrows arrived, the children gave a spontaneous round of applause! It was a lovely example of the way our children encourage one another and celebrate each other’s ideas and efforts.
The new robot now has pride of place in the Sparrows classroom, standing proudly alongside the original junk‑model creations. It’s a daily reminder that learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door – it continues at home, where children can explore their interests, use their imaginations and share their creativity with others.

Miss Corrigan said:

“It was wonderful to see this child so inspired by our learning that they chose to carry it on at home. The care, creativity and pride they showed when sharing their robot with the class is exactly what our Love, Learn, Shine vision is all about – children loving their learning, growing in confidence and shining brightly together.”

Moments like this truly light up everyone’s day in Sparrows. We love seeing our children take their ideas further at home, then bring them back into school to inspire their friends – a perfect example of children continuing to Love, Learn, Shine in everything they do. 🌟
