Sparrows Explore the Continents
Over the past two weeks, our amazing Sparrows have been working incredibly hard to learn more about our world, with a special focus on the seven continents and five oceans. Their enthusiasm has been wonderful to see, and they have truly shown what it means to Love, Learn, Shine.
Today, the classroom buzzed with excitement as the children became real βcontinent expertsβ. Working in teams, each group was given a special information pack full of maps, facts, and key features to investigate. The children read about interesting places, identified physical and human features, and found out which countries belong to their continent.
After gathering their ideas and discussing what they had learned, the children prepared mini presentations to teach the rest of the class. Every group spoke confidently and proudly, sharing what makes their continent unique. It was inspiring to see them taking on the role of teachers β helping each other learn more about our wonderful world.
A Message from Miss Corrigan
