St Peter’s Children Shine at the First Ever Trust Big Little Sing

Schools from across our Trust came together this week for our very first Trust Big Little Sing a truly joyful celebration of music, connection and community. In line with our Trust mission of ambition, learning and enrichment for all, the morning showcased the very best of shared experience and collaborative opportunity.
We were absolutely delighted that St Peter’s children took part in this special event yesterday. Our children represented the school beautifully they behaved with maturity, sang with confidence and heart, and contributed so warmly to the uplifting atmosphere.
Miss Corrigan, our Lower School Choir Lead, shared her thoughts on the experience:
“There is something utterly powerful about children singing together. Music brings confidence, joy and togetherness in a way little else can. It was a wonderful chance for our children to perform and to feel part of something bigger than themselves.”
Staff and younger children from across our Trust were warmly welcomed to St Aidan’s, where the Junior Choir were ready and waiting to sing alongside them. The hall was filled with smiles, encouragement and shared excitement as voices blended beautifully from the very first note.
A heartfelt thank you goes to all staff who prepared children with such care and enthusiasm for this event. Particular thanks are extended to Ann Hunt (Oatlands Infants) and Vicki Elliott and Louisa Collett (St Aidan’s) for coordinating such a fantastic Trust-wide celebration.
In the words of Trust Chief Executive Jane Goodwin,
“Music is good for the soul.”
We couldn’t agree more. Our children certainly lived out our vision to Love, Learn and Shine, and we hope every child left feeling proud, uplifted and inspired.
