Welcome Back to Summer Term 2026

We are delighted to welcome all our children and families back to St Peter’s for the start of the Summer Term. We hope everyone enjoyed a restful Easter break and is ready for an exciting term ahead, full of opportunities to Love, Learn and Shine.
To help families feel informed and prepared, we are sharing a short summary of the key updates for the start of term below. These include important information about temporary site access changes, daily routines, attendance, and upcoming events.

Key Information for Families

  • Temporary Site Access Changes
Due to essential roofing work at St Paul’s Church overrunning slightly, scaffolding may remain on part of the school site as term begins. For safety reasons, access to the back playground and Early Years drop‑off will temporarily be via the car park, with staff on hand to support children.
  • Staying Connected
Our News section and Instagram page are the best ways to keep up with learning, events and celebrations across school this term. These updates showcase our children’s creativity, curiosity and achievements and help families stay connected with school life.
  • Daily Timings & Punctuality
Children should be in their class lines and ready to enter school at 8.45am, with the school day ending at 3.15pm. Arriving on time helps children settle quickly and start their learning confidently.
  • Attendance Matters
Every day in school makes a difference. We are grateful for your continued support in helping children attend regularly so they can build friendships, grow in confidence and make the most of their learning.
  • Important Reminders
Updates include information about photo consent via Arbor, uniform expectations, snacks from home, swimming arrangements, wellbeing reminders about items from home, and being a Nut Aware School.
  • Dates for Your Diary
The Summer Term is packed with exciting events, trips, curriculum experiences and transition activities. Key dates include parent consultation evenings, class trips, assessment weeks, transition days and end‑of‑year celebrations.
