🌟 Year 5 & 6 Boys Show Determination and Skill on the Pitch to earn Second Place Success for St Peter’s🏆
Last night, Mrs Oldfield proudly took eight Year 5 and 6 boys to Harrogate High for an exciting football tournament. The children showed incredible teamwork and determination throughout the day. They played with energy and skill, working together to score some fantastic goals and defending strongly against tough competition.
We faced three other schools, and after some thrilling matches, the boys finished in second place – a brilliant achievement that reflects their hard work, resilience, and sportsmanship. Every child gave their best, and we couldn’t be prouder of their effort and attitude.
A special mention goes to Elijah, who received a certificate for his amazing social skills a wonderful example of how we live out our school vision of Love, Learn, Shine both on and off the pitch.
Mrs Oldfield said: “I was so proud of every single child today. They played with heart, supported each other, and represented St Peter’s beautifully. Their teamwork and positivity were outstanding – what a fantastic group!”
