Welcome
Hello and Welcome to St Peter’s Primary School. All Parents and carers of the children at St Peters are automatically a member of Friends of St Peters (FOSP) which is a registered charity dedicated to raising much needed funds for the school.
It is your association.
What is F.O.S.P ?
Well we are the P.T.A in a word, we are an open community of parents, grandparents and carers that volunteer our time to work with the school to ensure the best possible ways we can help the school and ensure the best educational experience for all pupils.
Over the years we have funded projects like the playground improvements, trips to the pantomime and transport for school trips. In addition, we regularly hold events such as the Halloween disco, movie night, Christmas fair and leavers disco to name but a few. We also hold a regular Friday cake sale with proceeds going to individual classes and the school sensory room.
WE NEED YOU !
We are passionate about our school and we always need your help. One of the most valuable contributions you can offer is your time. Anything you can do to help, even if it’s just an hour can help with events. Any ideas you have that may help us raise money to make our school the school our children will love and learn in and have the best start we can possibly give them.

To celebrate the opening of the new St Peter’s School library the school and FOSP have launched a ‘wish list’ campaign in partnership with local independent bookshop Imagined Things which aims to restock the school library with additional books. Anyone can support St Peter’s and its children by stopping by Imagined Things Bookshop on Montpellier Parade, to buy a book of their choice that will be placed in the new library. Anyone donating is welcome to add a message on a special sticker inside the book or of course remain anonymous.
We have placed copies of the wish lists below so families can have a browse the books we are aiming to buy through this scheme and perhaps choose one to purchase for the school. All donations are very gratefully received. We thank everyone for their support of this project.
